Burn Center Pie Smash
Date & Time: Monday, November 27, 7pm
It's been a long year of exciting events, so let's do a little stress relief. For a donation of $5/pie, President Christina Jaromin will take a whipped cream pie in the face. All money raised will go to the NC Jaycee Burn Center at UNC Hospitals. We'll supply the pie, you supply the $5 & will to smash one in the President's face! Additionally, current NC Jaycees Membership VP and NC Jaycees President-Elect Sharon Worthington will be taking one pie in the face. This pie will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. We'll start at 7pm at the Chamber of Commerce and go until Christina is covered in whipped cream. This event will take place instead of a General Membership Meeting. 2007 Board of Directors Retreat
Date & Time: Tuesday, November 28th, 7pm
The 2007 Board of Directors will be meeting on Tuesday, November 28th to discuss plans for next year. The current officers are Mary Johnson, Community Development Vice President; Rob Thompson, Individual Development Vice President; Mark Patterson, Management Vice President; and David Curl, Membership Vice President. If you are interested in being President, Secretary, Treasurer, or State Director, please consider coming to the retreat. It will be held at Christina Jaromin's house. M-Night at Bailey's Pub & Grille
Date & Time: Thursday, November 30th, 6:30-8:30pm
Guests and prospective members are invited to mix 'n mingle with current members and learn about the Jaycees in a relaxed, social atmosphere. Bailey's is located at 1722 N Fordham Blvd in Chapel Hill. Free appetizers will be provided. Business Before Hours - Grimball Jewelers
Date & Time: Friday, December 1st, 7:30-9am
Business Before Hours is very similar to Business After Hours, only it's in the morning! If you enjoy networking before work, this is the event for you. Murder Mystery Party
Date & Time: Saturday, December 2nd, 7pm
It's time for the Christmas Party for the Law Firm of Lie, Cheat & Steal. Come out ready for murder! Everyone at the party will have be a character and we will all be trying to solve the murder of Mr. A. Big Scam, who was found stuffed up his chimney in the Santa suit he was going to wear to the party. Mr. Scam was also the next in line to become a partner! All parts have been assigned for this party, but please e-mail Christina Jaromin at president@chapelhilljaycees.org if you are interested in attending. We can never have enough "detectives" investigating a murder!

2006 Chapel Hill Carrboro Holiday Parade Committee
Interested in helping out the 2006 Holiday Parade Committee? Please contact Mark Patterson at mpatters97@gmail.com. They are looking for people to help before the parade and the day of the parade. We will help with entering information into a database, organizing all of the entries that we have, and on the day of the parade, be the man & woman power making sure the parade goes off without a hitch. The Committee has been working very hard since early this year and is now in need of getting the rest of the chapter involved. Any time you can give is appreciated!
2007 Individual Development Vice President Slot Awarded
Rob Thompson has stepped up to be the 2007 IDVP. Rob has served on the Board before as IDVP and also Management VP. Congratulations Rob!
