New Board Members Elected
Congratulations to the incoming 2007 Board of Directors:
Community Development Vice President Mary Johnson
Management Vice President Mark Patterson
Membership Vice President David Curl
Treasurer Joe Beal
These individuals were elected at the General Membership Meeting on Monday, October 23. If you are still considering taking one of the unfilled Board positions (President, Individual Development Vice President, Secretary, & State Director) please contact Christina Jaromin at President@chapelhilljaycees.org. She would be happy to give you the scoop on the open positions and what is expected of each officer.
Boys Home Stuff Drive & Seeds of Change
On Saturday, October 28, Kristi Baleno & Christina Jaromin used the $75.16 collected from the Seeds of Change to shop for new items for the Boys Home that will be delivered on Saturday. It took 16 minutes to spend the $75 on a new iron, clear storage containers, a set of pots, and some personal items for the boys.

2006 Chapel Hill Carrboro Holiday Parade Committee
Interested in helping out the 2007 Holiday Parade Committee? Please contact Mark Patterson at mpatters97@gmail.com. They are looking for people to help before the parade and the day of the parade. We will help with entering information into a database, organizing all of the entries that we have, and on the day of the parade, be the man & woman power making sure the parade goes off without a hitch. The Committee has been working very hard since early this year and is now in need of getting the rest of the chapter involved. Any time you can give is appreciated!
