Durham Bulls FUNdraiser for the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill

Date & Time: Sunday, August 13, 3:30-7pm

It's time for one of our biggest fundraisers of the summer - selling beer at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. We are still in need of 3 more volunteers for the game this afternoon. It is a lot of fun, and you get to keep tips! All profits from this game will benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill. For those of you who went to the House the last time we grilled burgers & dogs, you know that they are in great need of a new gas grill. This money will help get them a new grill for everyone to enjoy. If you are able to help us out, please e-mail Christina Jaromin at President@chapelhilljaycees.org.

General Membership Meeting - Speaker Carnivore Preservation Trust
Date & Time: Monday, August 14, 7pm

Please join us on Monday, August 14, at 7pm to hear Pam Fulk from the Carnivore Preservation Trust speak about the program. We meet at the Chapel Hill Carrboro Chamber of Commerce, 104 S. Estes Drive. If you're interested in joining, but aren't sure what the Chapel Hill Jaycees do, this would be the perfect opportunity to come and check us out! Chamber of Commerce's Business After Hours - Ferguson's Home Design Center

Date & Time: Thursday, August 17, 5:30-7pm

Business After Hours this month will be held on Thursday, August 17th at Ferguson's Home Design Center in Carrboro Plaza. This is an excellent opportunity to network with fellow Chamber members and meet new people. Light refreshments served. NC Jaycees Executive Committee Meeting and Duke Cancer Center Tour

Date & Time: Saturday, August 19, 10am-1pm

Come to the meeting to hear what's going on with Jaycees across the state and stay for the tour of the Cancer Center. They also give you free goodies & lunch, so it's definitely worth the trip! Please e-mail Todd Dawson at StateDirector@chapelhilljaycees.org if you plan to attend. We will be carpooling to save on gas!

NC Jaycees Statewide Family Day

Date & Time: Saturday, August 19, 3-6pm

Come out and enjoy an afternoon of Bowling. We'll meet at AMF Lanes on 15-501 in Durham. Cost will be $10 for two hours of unlimited bowling plus $2.75 for shoe rental. Please e-mail Todd Dawson at StateDirector@chapelhilljaycees.org if you plan to attend. We all love bowling, so why not come out and do it with Jaycees from around the state!

Guests are welcome to all of our events and meetings.
