Cuisine Night - Merlion Restaurant
Date & Time: Tuesday, June 20, 7-9pm
Come and enjoy the only Singapore restaurant between DC & Atlanta. Merlion is located in Southern Village on Market Street. Please e-mail Joe Beal at mblank@joimail.com if you would like to attend. The more, the merrier!
PRIME Training in Hickory
Date & Time: Saturday & Sunday, June 24-25
PRIME is the first level training course for Junior Chamber International coaches. This two day course is a practical guide to implementing sound personal and leadership development programs to create positive change. PRIME is designed to present new and interesting challenges to members who have little or no experience in training and coaching, but who want to develop coaching skills for use in our chapters, community, and workplace. PRIME increases one's confidence in presenting complex information in an understandable and interesting way, and increases one's ability to motivate others. Additionally, it increases communication and organizational skills, and assists us in looking at new situations with an open and positive mind. JCI International Coach Suzette Plaisted will be training this excellent course. If you are interested in more information, Kendra Fuller, Christina Jaromin, Amber Neill, Kim Winson, & Sharon Worthington have all been through PRIME (Kendra, Christina, & Kim did it last year with Suzette!) and they would all be more than willing to give you more of an overview. The cost is $75, but if you are willing to tell the Chapel Hill Jaycees about what you learned, we're willing to give you $25 toward your registration fee. Please e-mail Tim Miller at IndividualDevelopmentVP@chapelhilljaycees.org for more information. Registration is due by Monday, June 19th.
Guests are welcome to all of our events and meetings. |

One Question Survey from your Membership VP
We have made it through half of another exciting year in the Chapel Hill Jaycees. I certainly hope that you have enjoyed these last few months and that you will continue to be involved with upcoming projects, meetings, social activities, and other fun events that we have planned.
Your contribution to our Chapter is very important and we value the time and energy you give. That is why I would like to ask for your feedback at this time. Please reply to this email, or submit an anonymous message to our online suggestion box if you prefer, and answer our one question survey: If there is one thing we can do better or change to improve your experience in the Jaycees, what would it be?
If you have any questions or further suggestions that can help improve everyone's Jaycee experience, please don't hesitate to let me (MembershipVP@chapelhilljaycees.org) or one of the other Board members know. Or you can always submit a comment/question anonymously via our online suggestion box if you prefer (there's even a link to the suggestion box at the bottom of THIS newsletter!). We value your input and would love to hear from you. This is YOUR organization and we are here to serve you too!
Thanks in advance for your participation! Hope to see you all soon!
