Durham Bulls Game for Fun

Date & Time: Monday, May 29, 4:30pm

NC Jaycee Executive Meeting at the UNC Burn Center
Date & Time: Saturday, June 3, 10:00am

The NC Jaycees Executive Committee Meeting will be on Saturday June 3, from 10am-1pm. Lunch will be provided. The meeting will be held at the Hill Alumni Center followed by a tour of the NC Jaycee Burn Center at UNC Hospitals. It's an interesting tour and it's a good opportunity to see where our raised funds go for the Burn Center. Boys Home comes to Chapel Hill
Date & Time: Saturday, June 3, 12-5pm

That's right, we're bringing the Boys to Chapel Hill to hang out with us! They'll have lunch at the Burn Center with us, tour the facility, and then it's off to Mardi Gras bowling for a little fun! We are still in need of 3 more people to help us keep an eye out on them, so please e-mail Amber Neill at amber9904@nc.rr.com if you are able to help. We'll pay for your bowling and dinner at Amante's Pizza if you're able to help! This is a great opportunity to interact with kids who are looking for a little bit more attention.

Guests are welcome to all of our events and meetings.

Convention Summary

For those of you who were not at the NC Jaycees Convention on Saturday, May 20th or at the General Membership Meeting on Monday, May 22nd, here's what you missed! Joe Beal was awarded one of the top 3 Jaycees of the Trimester all over the state. Rob Thompson was recgonized for doing such an outstanding job on our website. Tim Miller was recgonized as the most outstanding Individual Development Vice President across the state for the first trimester. The Chapel Hill Jaycees as a whole were awarded sixth place in the Parade of Excellence, which is a good chapter planning tool. Congratuations to all of the winners!
