Cuisine Night - B. Christopher's
Date & Time: Tuesday, May 16, 7-9pm

Business After Hours - Bryan Properties, Inc.
Date & Time: Thursday, May 18, 5:30-7pm
The Chamber of Commerce is having their monthly Business After Hours on Thursday, May 18, at Southern Village in Chapel Hill. Bryan Properties, 300 Market St., Ste. 120 is the host business this month. There will be networking opportunities as well as light refreshments. NC Jaycees Awards Convention in Raleigh
Date & Time: Friday-Sunday, May 19-21
Many people have asked what it is like to go to a convention. Now is the perfect time to find out first hand! We will be learning the dance of the Carolinas, The Shag, on Friday Night. Saturday will be filled with various trainings and awards banquets. Sunday, we will be learning about the Islamic Relgion during the Sunday Morning, come as you are, devotional. If you are interested in attending convention, please e-mail Todd Dawson at statedirector@chapelhilljaycees.org. If you are interested in only attending certain parts of the weekend, they have individual pricing for each event. Also, since the convention is at the Brownstone Hotel on Hillsborough Street in Raleigh, you won't even need to get a hotel room!
Guests are welcome to all of our events and meetings. |

Thank you thank you thank you!
A HUGE Thank you goes out to Christina Jaromin, Charles Krupinski, Tim Miller, & Xiaowen Xin for standing in the rain last Sunday at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Hopefully, the next game will not be called on a count of rain and we'll actually be able to sell beer!
Also, a thank you was forgotten last week. Thank you to Kim Winson who also helped with the Raleigh Jaycees Brookhill Steeplechase last weekend. Kim was assisting with the JayChords & setting up the infield.
Something to Write About?
Is there something that you think the Chapel Hill Jaycees are doing that is unique that the rest of the North Carolina Jaycees would benefit from knowing about? What about a past project that you think we did so well, we need to brag about it? If you are interested in writing an article (350 words or less) for the upcoming NC Jaycee Monthly, please contact Christina Jaromin at president@chapelhilljaycees.org or Todd Dawson at statedirector@chapelhilljaycees.org. Deadline for articles is Friday, May 19.
