Cuisine Night - Bon's Home Cooking
Date: Tuesday, April 18, 7-9pm

Business After Hours - Ace Hardware in Timberlyne Shopping Center
Date: Thursday, April 20, 5:30-7pm

The Chamber of Commerce's monthly Business After Hours will be held on Thursday, April 20th from 5:30-7pm at Ace Hardware in the Timberline Shopping Center off of Weaver Dairy Road.  This is a good place to network with other Chamber members and to interact with some of your fellow Jaycees.  Please e-mail Christina Jaromin at president@chapelhilljaycees.org if you plan to attend!


Book Club
Date: Thursday, April 20th, 7-8:30pm

Discussion of the book "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime" by Mark Haddon.  We will meet at Weaver Street Market on Weaver Street in Carrboro. Either outside or in the market's cafe depending on weather.  Please e-mail Ash Parks at agparks@unc.edu if you plan to attend.
 
Great Grapes Wine Festival
Date: Saturday, April 22nd, 11am-7pm
 
Wine, arts, music & food festival at Booth Amphitheatre at Regency Park in Cary.  Advance tickets are $17 and include all performances, cooking demonstrations, a souvenir wine glass and wine tastings. JayChord a Cappella Concert
Date: Saturday, April 22nd, 7:30-9pm
 
The JayChords very first public performance is as guests of North Carolina State University’s co-ed A Cappella group Wolfgang at the Bragaw Hall (http://www.ncsu.edu/facilities/buildings/bragaw.html) activity room. . The show will start at 7:30pm and The JayChords will sing three songs between Wolfgang's sets. Admission is $5 for non-students and $3 for students. Tickets will be available at the door. Come out and support the JayChords at their inaugural performance! Apple Chill
Date: Sunday, April 23rd, 12 noon-5pm
 
Apple Chill is coming and we need volunteers to assist the Chapel Hill Firefighter's Association during the event.  We will help set up their safety trailer and give out fire and injury prevention information.  Please e-mail Peter DeStaebler at communitydevelopmentvp@chapelhilljaycees.org if you are able to help next Sunday.

Website Update
Have you been to the Chapel Hill Jaycees website lately?  If not, you should check it out!  Our Webmaster Rob Thompson has re-worked the site and given it an update.  It looks AMAZING!  If you haven't stopped by recently, check it out at www.chapelhilljaycees.org.  A HUGE Thank You to Rob goes out for doing this in his spare time!
