General Membership Meeting will be Training!
Monday, April 10, 7-9pm
The General Membership meeting on Monday, April 10th will be canceled so that we can be trained by Tammy from the Durham Bulls on TIPS Training. TIPS, which stands for Training Intervention Procedures, is a training that we all need in order to work at the Durham Bulls Beer Carts, which is our #1 fundraiser this year. TIPS certification is good for 3 years and can also help you if you want to get a parttime job bartending or waitressing or if you are serving alcohol at a public event. Because the training will take 2 hours, we will be providing sodas & pizza for everyone. If you plan to attend, and we would like everyone to be certified, please e-mail Christina Jaromin at president@chapelhilljaycees.org so that materials will be available for you!
M-Night at the Bowling Alley
Thursday, April 13, 7-9pm
Membership recruitment night - guests and prospective members are invited to meet current members and learn about the Jaycees in a relaxed, social atmosphere. Four lanes will be reserved and food & shoes will be provided by the Jaycees. Mardi Gras Bowling Alley on Hwy 54 near intersection of Fearrington Rd. Please contact Melissa Feder at membershipvp@chapelhilljaycees.org if you plan to attend or would like more information.
Guests are welcome to all of our events and meetings.
