This Week in Jaycees

Events

Convention ReCap
A good time was had by all this weekend at the North Carolina Jaycees Convention, held in Greensboro.  The theme?  The 70's for our 70th State President, Joanie Cramer from Lake Norman/Charlotte.  Interested in knowing if Chapel Hill received any awards?  Come to the next General Membership Meeting, Monday, February 13th to find out.  Thank you to Todd Dawson, Christina Jaromin, Amber Neill, Kim Winson, & Sharon Worthington for representing Chapel Hill in style.

Chamber of Commerce - Business Before Hours
Date:  Friday, February 3
Time:  7:30-9am

Interested in business networking before going to work?  Check out Business Before Hours this Friday morning at Performance Auto Mall, 1810 N. Fordham Blvd.  There will be light refreshments.  E-mail Christina Jaromin at president@chapelhilljaycees.org for more information.

Interested in knowing more about Recycling?
Have you ever wondered why we have to sort the colored glass out from the clear glass?  What about why newspaper and cereal boxes can't go in the same bin?  Karen Pulse (formerly Hales) will be at our next General Membership meeting to discuss these things with us.  Is there something specific you are interested in learning about?  Please e-mail Christina Jaromin at president@chapelhilljaycees.org and let her know.  She'll get the questions to Karen.

Guests are welcome to all of our events and meetings.
