This Week in Jaycees
Events
National Jaycees Week National Jaycees week was established in 1929 to mark the anniversary of the founding of the U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce in 1920. It begins the third Sunday in January and is designed to acknowledge the substantial contribution Jaycees make to a community. Check out all of the cool things we're doing in observance this week!
Cuisine Night - Lime and Basil, 200 W. Franklin St.
Date: Tuesday, January 17

Mayor of Carrboro will read Jaycees Week Proclamation
Date: Tuesday, January 17
Time: 7:30-9pm
Carrboro Mayor Mark Chilton will be reading the Jaycees Week Proclamation at the Board of Aldermen meeting on Tuesday, January 17 at 7:30pm. The meeting will be held at Carrboro Town Hall, 301 W. Main Street, Carrboro. President Christina Jaromin will be there to represent the Chapter. If you would also like to attend the meeting, please e-mail Christina at president@chapelhilljaycees.org.
Business After Hours - Aveda Institute

Time: 5:30-7pm The Chamber of Commerce will hold their Business After Hours at Aveda Institute, 200 W. Franklin Street, near Lime & Basil & BW3's (In the old 23's building). Habitat for Humanity

Our Newest Jaycee! Congratulations to Kendra and Jason Fuller on their newest addition to the Jaycees. Isabella Jene Fuller was born on Monday, January 9, weighing 7lbs 6ozs. Mommy, Daddy, and Baby are all doing well.
