An FYI from the Hickory Jaycees:
Hello Everyone!
The Greater Hickory Classic Sr. PGA Tournament at Rock Barn is just around the corner! (As in October 3rd – 9th).
Have you signed up yet? Have you asked your friends & family to
come out. Working concessions with the Jaycees is a great time, and all
volunteers get a free grounds pass for the week, free volunteer
parking, lunch during their shift, and a free tshirt.
We
will be having an orientation to pick up tshirts and badges, and to get
important information about working at the tournament on Thursday,
September 29th at 6:30pm at the Jaycee Clubhouse. If you
have recruited volunteers, please ask them to attend. If you have not
recruited volunteers, well, what are you waiting for???
I
cannot stress enough the importance of getting volunteers and signing
up so we can cover all shifts. This is a high profile event and can
either make the Jaycees shine. Listed below are the following days and
time slots where we still need volunteers (these are shifts that still
remain unfilled):
Mon: 12pm – 6pm: 1 volunteer needed
Tues:10am – Close: 11 volunteers needed
Wed:11am – 6pm: 6 volunteers needed
Thurs:
7am – 1pm: 2 volunteers needed
11am – 6pm: 11 volunteers needed
Fri:
7am – 1pm: 24 volunteers needed
10am – 4pm: 4 volunteers needed
11am – 6pm: 13 volunteers needed
Sat:
7am – 1pm: 17 volunteers needed
11am – 6pm: 13 volunteers needed
Sun:
7am – 1pm: 20 volunteers needed
11am – 6pm: 22 volunteers needed
