Meeting Reminder 3/22; 7p-8p.
Tuesday is our General Membership Meeting at the UNC Ambulatory Care Center.  The guest speaker will be Shelia Sholes Ross, the director of the Communities in Schools of Orange County.  She will be talking about possible volunteer opportunities with her organization this year.

News and Notes

Yard Sale!  
A YARD SALE FUNDRAISER will be held on SATURDAY, MAY 7, so START CLEANING OUT YOUR CLOSETS to find items to donate (and ask everyone you know to do the same!).  We will accept anything from furniture and household items, to books, tapes, and music, to toys, blankets, and stuffed animals...anything you have that you want to get rid of that is still in workable/usable condition.  Also, if anyone is INTERESTED IN HELPING to coordinate the sale, volunteers are needed!  We will need folks to help distribute flyers, transport items to and from the sale, price the items the day before, set up on the day of the event, and clean up afterwards.  A Yard Sale Committee is being formed now, so sign up by contacting Melissa Feder at ManagementVP@chapelhilljaycees.org   (Note: You don't have to be able to work on the day of the sale to join the committee!)
